You have the option to contact your raters either by email or by text message.
To invite a rater via email:
- Enter your rater's name into the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields.
- Select "Email" from the "Communication" drop-down menu.
- Enter your rater's email address into the "Email" field.
- Select a relationship from the "Relationship to You" field.
- Click on the green "Send Invite" button.
To invite a rater via text message:
- Enter your rater's name into the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields.
- Select "Text (SMS)" from the "Communication" drop-down menu.
- Select a relationship from the "Relationship to You" field.
- Enter the rater's mobile phone number by selecting a country code from the "Country Code" field, entering the 3-digit "Area Code", and then entering the mobile phone number.
- Check the box indicating that you have confirmed with the recipient that they agree to receive an email from Checkster.
- Click on the green "Send Invite" button.
Keep in mind:
- Please always check the email address or mobile number you're entering for correctness. We cannot deliver an invitation to a rater whose email address or mobile number was entered incorrectly.
- If your rater does not have a cell phone with access to the internet, or an email address, please let the organization you applied with know that as they may have further instruction for you.
- If your rater completes the survey from their smartphone, data rates may apply.
- U.S. and Canada phone numbers will always have an area code, however some other countries do not use area codes. If you're inviting a rater who has a phone number from a country that doesn't use an area code, you may leave the "Area Code" field blank.
- Using the Text Message/SMS option will send a text message to your rater with a link to complete the survey online. If you enter a landline number, or a number for a phone that does not receive text messages, then we will not be able to contact your rater.
- The survey link must be opened online. If you send a text message to someone who does not have a smartphone/is not able to access the internet from their phone, then they will not be able to access and complete the survey.
- If you are not sure whether your rater's phone number a) is a mobile phone or a landline, or b) has access to the internet, please contact the rater directly to ask. If you are still unsure, it's always best to just choose email.
- Checkster does not call your raters for their feedback.
