You may have applied with multiple organizations, only to find that more than one of them uses Checkster for reference checks. If you have been asked to do separate reference checks for 2 different organizations, you will have to invite references to both of them, and complete each one separately. Here's why:
- The vast majority of organizations choose not to share a copy of the reference report they requested with another organization for privacy and legal purposes.
- Each organization asks different questions, so what one organization needs from your references could be completely different than what the another organization needs.
Remember that with a traditional reference check over the phone, your references would also be contacted more than once for their feedback.
We suggest connecting with your references directly before inviting them to your reference check to let them know that you will be sending them more than one reference request from Checkster. You can assure your references that each request is for a different organization you applied with, and that the questions are most likely different per survey.
