We've made it easier for your candidates to invite raters to their reference checks.
Organizational Checkup
Inviting Raters
Recruiters/Hiring Managers can directly invite the rater for an OC; rather than entering just the email id or the sms, they can now invite a rater using both the comms at the same time. After filling in the candidate information, when the recruiter/HM clicks on next, a new page appears to add the Rater(s) information. Over here, following changes to the UI can be seen:

Option to add both email and sms for the same rater. It is mandatory to fill one of the communication method.

From the Invite Participant page, whenever a particular detail for a communication method is added, the greyed out button before email or sms will turn green.

Once the rater is invited, their contact details can be seen from the Active Checkup portal.
Editing Rater Information
- For OC, rater information can be deleted but cannot be edited; they would need to add the rater again.
Sending Reminder
- Reminder can only be sent via email at this point.

Reference Checkup
Inviting Raters
For RC, raters can be added by the Recruiters/Hiring Managers can directly or the candidates would need to invite them. If the recruiters add the rater information directly, candidates will still have to approve it before the invitation can be sent to raters.
SCENARIO 1 (Recruiter Lead) : When the rater information is added by the recruiter, the candidate will see all the communication methods used by them to invite the rater(s) when they login to the candidate portal. Once the candidate approves the rater, an invitation sent out. If the rater data is incorrect, candidate will then need to reach out to the recruiter to have it corrected; candidates will not be able to edit it themselves.
SCENARIO 2 (Candidate Lead): When a candidate invites the rater(s) themselves from candidate portal, they can choose to invite them by adding both methods of communication at that time. By default, email is selected; candidates can choose the second method from the communication drop down.
When both email and sms are chosen, new boxes are added to fill in the mobile number.
Once all the required information is added, the Preview Invitation and Send Invitation buttons are activated.
Preview Invitation
In the preview invitation, candidates can see the preset communication template for the mode of communication they chose. They can still edit the email template but the sms communication template will not be editable.
Editing Rater Information
Once a rater is invited, candidate can choose to edit the rater data:
- If they initially choose to invite the rater using only one mode of communication, by clicking edit rater icon, they can add the second mode of communication.

If the rater was invited using both the communication methods, and now candidate wants to edit the email or sms or both, they can do so. But in this case, a new survey link sent to the rater; old link will be deactivated.

While editing the rater data, if the candidate removes a means a communication, no new link is sent. Whereas, if a new means of comm is added, same link is shared to the rater with the newly added comm.
Note:

Once the rater has completed the survey, then candidate cannot change their data.
- Depending on the choice the rater makes, the candidates will have limits on what information they can edit if the rater has already initiated their survey and needs to change any information. It is not recommended that changes are made once a rater is in progress.
