There may come a time when one of your candidates drops out of the process, or you’ve chosen not to proceed with a candidate. When that happens, you’ll want to cancel the reference check to ensure that the candidate and their references don’t receive any further communication from Checkster.
To cancel:
- Search for the candidate under Active Checkups on your My Checkster homepage.
- Click on the button in the Status column.
- Select “Cancel the Checkup”*.
*You can cancel a reference check as long as it hasn’t yet received the minimum number of responses required. Once a reference check has received the minimum number of responses, you will no longer see a “Cancel the Checkup” button, and will only have the option to complete the reference check.
