Understanding the candidate experience is crucial in being able to guide candidates through the assessment process. This article will walk you through the typical candidate experience from accepting the invitation to completing the assessment.
Step 1: Candidate Launches into the Assessment
Candidates can be invited to take the assessment directly from the user site, a self-registration link, or through your Applicant Tracking System. If a candidate is being invited through the user site or through a self-registration link, a unique, valid email in required. Candidates invited directly from the user site will receive an email that includes a link along with instructions on how to proceed.
When candidates click on the link, they're automatically launched into the assessment.
Candidates invited through a self-registration link will be directed to the same survey site, but first need to enter their name and email address.
Once the candidate clicks REGISTER, they will land on the same EEOC page as candidates who are invited through the user site or integration.
Step 2: Candidate Enters Demographic Information
Once the candidate clicks NEXT, their demographic information is collected on the following page with their name and email address pre-populated. Though these are required fields, candidates can select 'Prefer Not To Say' if they don't wish to provide this information. The demographic information is captured for reporting purposes and will not be accessible on reports or through the User Site.
Step 3: Candidate Completes Assessment
All questions are multiple choice and candidates are able to track their progress via the progress bar in the upper right hand corner. Please note that progress is only saved when the candidate clicks the NEXT button and moves forward to the next page. Candidates can easily move back and forth between their current page and completed pages by clicking PREVIOUS or NEXT. Candidates also have the option to select whether they want the text to appear in English or Spanish by selecting the desired language from the drop down menu in the upper left-hand corner.
Candidates will not be allowed to move forward in the assessment unless all questions on the screen have been answered. The missed question(s) will be indicated with an .
Step 4: Assessment Complete
Once the assessment is complete, candidates are given the option to review their responses.
After candidates submit their responses, they'll either land on our 'Thank You' page or will be redirected back to the company's site if the Thank You page has been customized to redirect candidates.
At this point, the candidate is done! The candidate's survey status changes to 'Complete' and reports are immediately accessible through your user site or Applicant Tracking System dashboard.
